Call: Interaccess seeks media artists for their new "beta" programme

A Strategic Plan for Increased Involvement at InterAccess:


be bold. be beautiful. be in beta.

InterAccess introduces beta, and its first call "BETA in beta:
unseen, unshown, & untested" an exhibition to be held the weekend of
July 4-7, 2007.

Deadline: Wednesday, May 30, 2007 at 5pm

InterAccess is proud to announce beta, a new exhibition programme
dedicated to membership production and exhibition.

beta is a pilot project that showcases member activity and work and
strengthens the connection between the production and exhibition of
new media art at InterAccess. beta fosters a sense of community and
encourages the growth of our members by providing a forum for
expression and experimentation.

Studio members are invited to submit applications of new work, or
work that is still in progress.

All submissions must include:
- A proposal of up to 750 words detailing your ideas and research
- A list of artworks, equipment, materials and other resources to be
supplied by the artist, including a list of technical requirements
directly related to the presentation
- Your CV
- You may submit up to 10 images or 2 CDs or DVDs (NTSC), and 1 URL address
- A detailed list of all support materials included

All submissions will be reviewed by a jury composed of InterAccess
staff and members. Applicants will be contacted by Friday, June 15,
2007. Please include a self-addressed, sufficiently stamped envelope
if you want your work returned.

We have many opportunities for different levels of participation at
InterAccess. For individuals, the highest is our Studio Membership,
which gives access to programs such as beta. To take yourself to the

Once you're a member, get access to the gear, or space you need to
make your (beta) dreams come true!

As a centre for the production of new media art, InterAccess offers
equipment and facility rentals at a discounted rate for Studio

InterAccess is a non-profit artist run center that enables artists
and the general public to explore the intersections of art and
