Pay: $15 per hour
Hours/Duration: The equivalent of 12 weeks at 34 hours per week
Hours and schedules are flexible.

Job description: The Gallery Assistant will work with the Artistic Director
to provide support for the installation, logistics and promotion of
exhibitions in PAVED Arts' galleries. The Gallery Assistant will assist with
the documentation of exhibitions, the preparation of the Gallery and the
packing and shipping of artworks. The Gallery Assistant will also provide
support for the organization's collection, resource centre and library.

Qualifications:
Interest in contemporary art, photography and/or media arts
Attention to detail
Self-motivated
Experience handling works of art
Basic installation skills (painting and patching walls, etc.)
Basic photography and/or videography skills would be an asset
Familiarity with library resources in the Fine Arts would be an asset

Requirements:
Was registered as a fulltime student during the preceding academic year
Intends to return to school on a full-time basis during the next academic
year
Is a secondary or post secondary student.
Is between 15 and 30 years of age
Is a Canadian citizen.
