Call: Euroepean Sound Delta seeks audio art submissions

Sound Art - Call for projects & residencies - summer 2008

EUROPEAN SOUND DELTA is a mobile project on the Danube & Rhine Rivers
focusing on radio-art using sounds of European cities. Two teams will be
travelling on both rivers this summer, recording sounds, producing live
performances and radio broadcasts with local sound-artists. A final
exhibition is scheduled in Strasbourg-F by the end of September 2008 as
part of http://www.ososphere.org International sound artists are invited
to apply with a project meant to be created on one of the trans-European
floating labs.

--> To give young people the experience of a professional mobile project
--> A documentary artistic research on cultural identities of
European cities
--> Built a new european network in the field of sound art
--> Experiment ICT via innovative artistic practices

INPORT 2007 - V International Video-Performance Art Festival

Performance artists all around the world are invited to send
proposals for INPORT, International Video-Performance Art Festival,
in Tallinn / Estonia on December 2007.

INPORT would like to bring artists from all around the world closer
to Estonian audience. This is non-profit Festival and unfortunately
we got a very small budget so we can only show your video/videos on
the singel screen. We can’t offer artistic fees, accomondation or
travel expenses.
After Festival we make the on-line catalogue on the Festival web-site:

Performance artists are invited to submit proposals for festival in
the following categories:
Video-performance (performances made specally for camera)
Video documentary (video documentations of performances)

Formats accepted: DVD, VCD, miniDV (PAL only)

There’s no limit of lenght, but please don’t send the masters!
There are no official entry forms or entry fees!

Enclosed with the video/videos you must send the following (on the
paper or
via e-mail):
Performance artist or group name
Performance title
Performance consept
Performance date, venue, Festival or event where it was first performed
Brief resume of the performance artist
Contact info (e-mail, postal address, etc.)

Deadline for entries: 14. October 2007 (postal stamp)

No materials will not to be returned, but will be kept in the
Festival archive for the projects in the future and for interested
curators and art festivals organizers!

Call for entries - DOKU.ARTS Festival for Films on Art


DOKU.ARTS - 2nd International Festival for Films on Art will take place
between September 19th and 23rd, 2007 in Berlin. DOKU.ARTS is the new
European platform for international films on art. While the focus lies on
documentaries, there is also the chance to see films that are between
fiction and documentary. DOKU.ARTS is the only European festival that
presents films from all fields of art (music, literature, theatre, dance,
cinema, photography, architecture, fine arts). In the forum, "Producing
Films on Art", the festival invites filmmakers, producers, critics, persons
engaged in the cultural sector, artists and commissioning editors from all
over Europe to discuss the challenges involved in producing documentaries on
art.
