Call: ACE Art seeks member's artwork for group "Winter Warmer" show/sale

WINTER WARMER: Members' Art Show & Sale
CALL TO MEMBERS...

Deadline for entries: November 17th before 5pm.

Winter Warmer is an all member show, where we will exhibit your work of any medium. There are no artist fees
paid for artists in this show, however all artists will have an opportunity to sell their work and will receive 100% of the sale.

Some specifications to enter artwork (details avail. on our web):

> You must be a member of aceartinc. to participate. The Winter Warmer Special, member’s fee $10.00.
> One large (no larger then 5ft x 5ft) or three small (no larger then 1ft x 1ft ea.) work of any medium.
> Artists should include their name, email & phone number, title, date of the piece made and sale price with their work whenhanded in.
> Note to out of town members: ace does not provide delivery of artwork to or from gallery.
> If special equipment for the presentation of your work is needed or work is outside size specs
please call ASAP Liz Garlicki 944-9763 gallery@aceart.org.
> Late submissions are very difficult for the gallery to accommodate. Please make sure to bring your work in before 5pm, 17th November, 2006.
> This sale will open on December 8 at 7pm - late, and runs til December 14th.

Call: Common Weal seeks Hip-Hop and Spoken Word artists

ROOTS OF TRUTH
CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS
DEADLINE AUGUST 31, 2007

Common Weal is currently accepting submissions for ROOTS OF TRUTH, a compilation CD to be released in Fall 2007. This project is open to HIP HOP and SPOKEN WORD artists (under 30 years old and recording independently) living in the city of Regina and surrounding areas.

To have your track included for consideration on the ROOTS OF TRUTH compilation CD, please include:

-An MP3 or CD with track name and length clearly indicated
-A short bio of yourself
-The names of all the people involved in creating your track
-Your age
-Info on where to reach you (e-mail, phone, mailing address

If chosen for the ROOTS OF TRUTH project you will get:

-your track on the CD
-A reproduction/artist fee for your track being on the CD
-5 free copies of the CD

Artists will be notified of the selection committee's decisions by September 10, 2007. Please send applications by e-mail or regular mail to:
